A Family Learning How to Live with  Cancer and the Possibility of Death While Surviving Day to Day


As requested by so many friends and family I have put together this site to help everyone stay in touch with my current situation and the status of the cancers progression. Two Years and Still Fighting

We have been fighting this cancer for two years now and you would think that it would get easier but I beg to differ it gets more difficult if you were to ask me (Duane).

You find yourself looking for other cancer patients because they are the only ones that understand how you feel and think. No one without having been through this can possibly understand a cancer patients thoughts and desires. A family also has the same needs just a little different. They also need other cancer families to talk to for the same reasons that the patient needs them.

So after two years the best advise I can give to new cancer patients next to getting second opinion's quickly (VERY QUICKLY) is to seek out and find support from other cancer patients as soon as possible. They can help you in so many ways.
